My name is Neelu. I love discovering new music, practicing martial arts, dancing, going to concerts, taking photos, traveling, and being by an ocean. I have always been in love with learning new things, going on an adventures, and building memorable experiences for others whether that be through unforgettable merch designs, visual escapades, or exciting and impressionable events.

I graduated from Boston University with both a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and a M.S. in Media Ventures (otherwise known as disruptive entrepreneurship). I have worked as a music journalist for 8 years and have worked in the music and creative industry in brand development and partnerships, advertising, creative and production at companies such as Sony Music, AEG, RCA Records, #iVoted Festival, Gupta Media, & more. I then went on to co-found a talent discovery platform, editorial, and production company called Channel Sounds. I then opened a coffee shop called Fuel America during the pandemic with an event space called Cafe Neelu. During this time, I also received a certificate in Interior Design. Today, I have hosted and designed concerts, cultural festivals, pop up markets, specialty coffee menus, car shows, streetwear fashion showcases, art nights, and more. I have also worked on location teams for feature films including Wakanda Forever and Madame Web. Today, I have been creative directing for skincare brand Lileo Botanicals, modern day bodega Grove Village Market, streetwear brand Blessed Envision, and R&B artist Radha.

I love developing magnetic ideas for brands whether that be through interiors, merch items, visuals, or other forms of pop cultural trends. I love designing multi-sensory moments so people can always find a way to connect to the things that interest them most on an even deeper and more profound level, because that is what life is about…connecting with each other through the things that we love most.
